The following table is an archive of the
'Habbo Hotel Happenings' newsletters that were sent out during April - December 2001.

A new Habbo Hotel Happenings was issued every week, though sometimes sooner if updates or big events on HABBO HOTEL had occurred. The Habbo Hotel Happenings was written by ione, the Hotel Manager of 2001.
Sometimes guest reporters would have had their articles

Habbo Hotel Happenings Wednesday 18th September 2001

ONE WEEK ON...

Much of America went back to work today, in a show of strength and solidarity. In Habbo Hotel too, Habbos from all countries and religions have rallied together, offering each other support and comfort. Our strength is in the community we have all built together, and this has been ably demonstrated over the past seven days. As a mark of respect this week's image is from the three-mintue silence arranged by Habbos in the America Tragedy memorial room. We are still thinking of you, America.

NEW AND EXCITING WAYS TO GET CREDS

Yep, not only can you buy Habbo Credits by credit card, debit card, SMS, Splash Plastic, postal orders and cheques - pauses for breath - but now you can buy them in two totally new and exciting ways... Can payment methods be exciting? Well maybe I got carried away there, but let me tell you about them anyway :)

The first is by using a pre-pay Smartcreds card, which you top up at PayPoints in certain shops or by buying top-up vouchers at your local post office. To get one or find out more, have a look at the Smartcreds site. The second is quite possibly the easiest method ever - just ring a special number from a landline (that's your home phone) and you get 5 Habbo Credits for 50p. And that includes the cost of the phone call! Bargain or what?!?

To find out more, check out your Habbo Purse. And I'm really sorry if you're not in the UK, but you these only work for UK Habbos. But you could always send a cheque or postal order, or use a credit card ;)

PASSWORD = PRIVATE

Please let this be the last time I have to say this - I'm even boring myself! In fact, I'll give you the gen in simple points for the hard-of-understanding:

1. Make sure your password is impossible to guess

2. Never tell anyone your password (even if they seem really nice)

3. Never change your password to something another Habbo suggests (then they'll know it too - duh!)

4. Never use your password on any site other than www.habbohotel.com

Top tip for hard-to-guess passwords - use a combination of letters and numbers, with both upper and lower case. Now, go change your password this instant to something totally un-guessable and I'll promise to stop going on about it. We got a deal? Good.

That's all from me this week - if you've got any ideas about what you'd like to see in the hotel, or any comments on this newsletter, please email us.

Happy Habboing!

The Manager
